Attention CURRENT or PAST ADE Technology for Learning Community (TLC) participants:  In recognition of your commitment to assistive technology service delivery, there is a special conference-only rate of $99 applicable to TLC team members.  Contact Adi at 602-728-9534 , or aztap@nau.edu for the discount code prior to registering online.   Please note the following: 1) there are a limited amount of TLC slots available, so register as soon as possible; 2) do not share the discount code with someone who is not a current or past TLC participant; and, 3) the full preconference workshop fee still applies if you choose to attend that event as well.

Consumer Scholarships
A limited number of conference scholarships for consumers, self-advocates and/or family members may be available from Pilot Parents of Southern Arizona, through their LEAP Program. LEAP is a Leadership Education Advocacy Partnership program with the goal of providing financial support for self-advocates and guardians of children/adults with developmental disabilities to participate in conferences, workshops and other training opportunities that will increase knowledge and ability to become effective self advocates. Applicant Eligibility

  • Applicants must reside in Arizona and be citizens of the United States (valid Arizona State issued ID needed for documentation)
  • Applicant must be a self-advocate or guardian of a child/adult with a developmental disability (federal DD definition is available on the last page of the LEAP Application)

Event Eligibility

  • Eligible events include conferences, seminars, trainings and/or workshops which enhance knowledge about disability related issues, or promote individual participation in the decisions which affect the lives of individuals with disabilities.
  • All events must be compatible with the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council’s mission of community integration and inclusion.

Exhibit Hall Passes

AzTAP and its conference partners, Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA), and the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) are pleased to offer consumer access to the Exhibit Hall during this year’s conference.  We expect a vibrant Exhibit Hall with approximately 50 assistive technology-related vendors. The Exhibit Hall will be open to the community – at no charge – with our complimentary Exhibit Hall Pass on Monday afternoon, July 21st from 1:30 – 6:00 p.m. (The Exhibit Hall closes at 6:00).
