Advisory Council

AzTAP is required to have an advisory council, the Assistive Technology Advisory Board, which meets annually. Advisory rather than governing in structure, the members provide input and feedback about AzTAP’s services and outcomes. Its current membership includes representatives from:

  • Arizona Department of Education
  • Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration
  • A State Center for Independent Living
  • State Workforce Investment Board
  • Organization focused on serving individuals with Blindness or Visual Impairments
  • Healthcare Provider
  • Statewide Independent Living Council
  • Human services organization focused on services for Seniors
  • Consumers with disabilities and/or their family members

If you are a person with a disability or a family member of a person with disability who uses Assistive Technology and have an interest in serving on the advisory board, please contact AzTAP at AskAzTAP@nau.edu or call 602-728-9534 / 1-800-477-9921.
