AzTAP is required to have an advisory council, the Assistive Technology Advisory Board, which meets two times a year. Advisory rather than governing in structure, the members provide input and feedback about AzTAP’s services and outcomes. Its current membership includes representatives from:
- Arizona Department of Education
- Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration
- A State Center for Independent Living
- State Workforce Investment Board
- Organization focused on serving individuals with Blindness or Visual Impairments
- Healthcare Provider
- Statewide Independent Living Council
- Human services organization focused on services for Seniors
- Consumers with disabilities and/or their family members
