Advisory Council 2020-05-04T13:06:41-07:00

AzTAP is required to have an advisory council, the Assistive Technology Advisory Board, which meets two times a year. Advisory rather than governing in structure, the members provide input and feedback about AzTAP’s services and outcomes. Its current membership includes representatives from:

  • Arizona Department of Education
  • Arizona Rehabilitation Services Administration
  • A State Center for Independent Living
  • State Workforce Investment Board
  • Organization focused on serving individuals with Blindness or Visual Impairments
  • Healthcare Provider
  • Statewide Independent Living Council
  • Human services organization focused on services for Seniors
  • Consumers with disabilities and/or their family members

If you are a person with a disability or a family member of a person with disability who uses Assistive Technology and have an interest in serving on the advisory board, please contact Clayton Guffey at 602.776.4699 or Clayton.Guffey@nau.edu.
