Affordable Connectivity Program
In November 2021, Congress passed the infrastructure bill which set aside funds to create the Affordable Connectivity Program – a new, long-term program, which will replace the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program.
All customers applying on or after 12-31-21 will be enrolled in the new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP). Eligible households enrolled in ACP will receive up to $30 off their monthly internet service, and be subject to the rules and requirements of the ACP program.
EBB households enrolled before 12-31-21 will continue to receive their current monthly EBB benefit during a 60-day transition period after EBB ends.
You can apply through your internet provider or go to Affordable Connectivity Program | Federal Communications Commission (fcc.gov).
