Continuing Education Information
Receipt of up to 19 continuing education contact hours/ 1.9 CEUs is possible as follows:
Preconference AT Makers Workshop (Sunday): up to 7 contact hours
Conference Day One (Monday): up to 6 contact hours
Conference Day Two (Tuesday): up to 6 contact hours
Depending on your continuing education needs, there are several options for documenting conference participation:
Arizona Department of Education and Northern Arizona University-IHD/AzTAP CE Certificates will be available at the registration desk at the end of the preconference workshops on Sunday and the full conference on Tuesday afternoon, July 16th. These certificates are applicable for persons working in school districts and for service providers in healthcare, rehabilitation, state agencies, postsecondary settings, etc. where verification of attendance at each individual session is not required.
For ASHA credential renewal and/or RESNA ATP Certification renewal or for those who need proof of individual session attendance, please use the Continuing Education Verification Form which is included in your conference bag. Session facilitators will stamp the box next to the session title on the Continuing Education Verification Form at the end of each presentation. If you leave a presentation early, the form will not be stamped. It is your responsibility to keep and use this form throughout the conference.
CRC CEUs – Participants who want CRC hours must have their attendance verified for each session attended. Session facilitators will stamp the box next to the session title on the Continuing Education Verification Form at the end of each presentation. If you leave a presentation early, the form will not be stamped. It is your responsibility to keep and use this form throughout the conference. With the exception of the Opening and Closing presentations, all preconference and conference sessions (including a number of AIVRTTAC Sunday sessions) have been approved for CRC credits.
We work with the Arizona Department of Health Services (DHS) to get preapproval for sessions with content appropriate for Speech Language Pathologists, Assistants, and Audiologists. Approved sessions will be designated with “DHS” on the AT-Glance Schedule and in the Conference Program. The approval letter and list of approved sessions will be posted once approval is received.
PLEASE NOTE: Attendees are responsible for keeping their Continuing Education Certificates and/or CE Verification Form and submitting them to credentialing agencies as needed; duplicates will not be issued!
