Accessible Transportation

We are aware that getting to the hotel can be challenging for persons with disabilities who don’t drive or need to take public transportation. 

In collaboration with Gompers, we are pleased to offer limited complimentary accessible van shuttle transportation from a central meeting point in Scottsdale to and from the We-Ko-Pa Resort for persons with disabilities.  

Who is eligible?

Transportation will be available for individuals who have registered to attend

• Any of the pre-conference workshops or trainings on Tuesday
• The conference Wednesday and Thursday or
• The FREE Community Event Wednesday afternoon (Exhibit Hall and / or Magic Show event).

Where is the central meeting point?

The central meeting point will be in front of the Frys Grocery Store located 10450 N 90th St, Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Cross streets are Shea Blvd and 90th St.

What is the schedule?

Tuesday June 20

Departure (one option this day):

• 8:00 AM for 8:15 AM Departure from Frys Grocery Store at Shea and 90th St, Scottsdale.

Return (one option this day):

• Van will leave conference center at 4:45 PM to return to drop off location.

Wednesday June 21

Departures (3 different choices on this day):

• 7:15 AM for 7:30 AM Departure from Fry’s Grocery Store at Shea and 90th St, Scottsdale.
• 12:45 PM for 1:00PM Departure from Fry’s Grocery Store at Shea and 90th St, Scottsdale.
• 4:15 pm for a 4:30 PM Departure from Fry’s Grocery Store at Shea and 90th St., Scottsdale.

Returns (2 different choices on this day):

• Van will leave conference center at 5:30 PM to return to drop off location.
• Van will leave conference center at 6:40 PM to return to drop off location.

Thursday, June 22

Departure (one option this day):

• 7:00 AM for a 7:15 AM Departure from Frys Grocery Store at Shea and 90th St, Scottsdale.

Return (one option this day):

• Van will leave conference center at 4:45 PM to return to drop off location.

We are pleased to offer this service but please be aware that space is limited and reservations are required for this service. Please contact us at AzTAP@nau.edu or by phone at 602.728.9537.  We will need to collect additional information from you to process your request.

TRANSPORTATION REQUESTS MUST BE MADE ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE OF THE DATE YOU NEED TRANSPORTATION. We are unable to process requests on shorter notice.
