AzTAP’s Lunch & Learn Series are FREE virtual 30-minute interactive informational sessions highlighting unique assistive technology-related topics. Our Summer 2025 Lunch & Learn will focus on the IRISBOND Hiru eye tracker.
This interactive workshop introduces participants to Hiru, a versatile, multi-platform eye tracker. Attendees will also explore the IRISBOND App Wheel—a curated guide to eye gaze-accessible apps across different operating systems. The workshop is designed to be hands-on and practical. Participants will learn how to configure eye tracking technology for a variety of applications, including communication tools, educational software, and leisure activities.
About the Presenter

Hannah Erickson, IRISBOND’s Head of Training and Support, brings a global perspective to her work. Originally from Minnesota, USA, she earned her degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota in 2013. After working in special education in her home state, she spent six years in Spain as a language trainer and coordinator of international exchange programs. For the past two years, Hannah has led training and support at IRISBOND, helping clients around the world understand and implement eye gaze technology effectively.

Gain hands-on experience adjusting settings in eye gaze-compatible apps—such as AAC tools, games, and educational software—using Hiru and the App Wheel to support diverse learners.
