About Elizabeth Ortiz

Elizabeth Burton Ortiz has a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics, a Master of Arts in Political Science, and a Juris Doctor. In 2009, Ms. Ortiz joined the Arizona Prosecuting Attorneys’ Advisory Council, where she serves as Executive Director. Ms. Ortiz is a sworn special prosecutor in several Arizona counties, and serves as co-chair of the Arizona Governor’s Commission to Prevent Violence Against Women, in addition to being a member of several national and statewide boards. Ms. Ortiz teaches extensively throughout the United States and in Mexico, and facilitates the What You Do Matters: Lessons From the Holocaust program.
