OBI 3 Self-Feeding Device
This interactive workshop introduces participants to the Obi 3- Self-Feeding Robot. Obi is an adaptive eating device for individuals who live with upper extremity limitations. Attendees will explore Obi 3’s newest accessories, software, design and features. Obi is engineered to elevate performance and enrich the user experience. Participants will learn how to configure the Obi 3 for an individual’s specific needs.
About the Presenter:
Heather Keeton is an experienced Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) and Certified Durable Medical Equipment Specialist (CDME) specializing in feeding technology. She is highly skilled in conducting assessments, navigating complex insurance processes, and guiding clients through the appeals process and hearings to ensure access to the equipment they need.
Heather has been invited to present at numerous state and national conferences, where she shares her expertise on assistive technology, adaptive feeding solutions, and insurance advocacy. As the parent of a child with special needs, she brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her work- passionately promoting independence, dignity and inclusion for individuals of all abilities.
